Who we are?
Salam Immigrant and Refugee Services Association (SIRSA), is a registered, Edmonton, Alberta based non-government organization that welcomes and provide and supporting services to newcomer immigrants and refugees in Alberta. We are an operational NGO, meaning we plan and carry out bootson-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. This requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project.
Vision SALAM envisions a society in Alberta, Canada, where newcomers and immigrants are welcomed with open arms and provided with the necessary support and guidance to thrive.
Goals Our goals are typically aimed at promoting the well-being, rights, and successful integration of immigrants and refugees into their new societies, fostering a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
